Faculty Development

Faculty members have the opportunity to enhance their teaching skills through the Carlton W. Kelley Excellence in Teaching Award. This award goes to a full-time and a part-time faculty member who is nominated by his or her co-workers and selected by a committee. Each year the Foundation also honors the recipient of the Outstanding Service Award for Administrators and the Outstanding Service Award for Support Personnel.  These awards all include a professional development stipend.  In addition, faculty and staff are recognized each year for years of service to the college.  Approximately $131,784 has been expended toward faculty development.
