The Competition
Calhoun's Clubs/Organizations have entered into a friendly challenge to see who can raise the most money in support of Haiti relief efforts. The totals raised and the winning group will be announced during Spring Fest activities in April.
How To Do It
Each Club Sponsors or group will be given sponsor sheets that they may use to collect money. Groups may also do other fund raisers to raise money. Monies may be turned in throughout the campaign to the Business Office/Cashier. You will receive a receipt.
At the end of the Campaign, the sponsor must
1) Submit a Club Packet that includes (These packets should be submitted no later than noon on April 1, 2010.) :
- A Club Submission Form (Sponsors are sent these directly)
- All receipts where money has been turned in (totals of receipts and total on Club Submission Form must match)
- All Club Collection Sheets (each sponsor must keep a copy so that they will be able to complete forms to have tax receipts mailed)
2) Complete an online form that puts those wanting tax receipts into a database. This may be done all throughout the campaign but no later than April 12, 2010.
