Calhoun to Offer Free CEUs to Nursing Professionals

Calhoun Community College is offering a FREE continuing education opportunity for North Alabama nursing professionals on Thursday, September 20, 2007, 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Room 109 of the Health Science Center on the Decatur campus.

 “Safety Strategies for Nurses” will cover crisis management, patient-in-crisis behaviors, effective communitcation skills in threatening situations, and physical safety techniques for health care providers.  There is no charge and two (2) Contact Hours (CEUs) will be offered by the Alabama Board of Nursing to those participants bringing their current nursing license to class.
